I am a painter and printmaker and have worked as a freelance artist since leaving Dyfed College of Art in 1985, after studying Wildlife Illustration. Living on the beautiful East Anglian Coastline I am surrounded by constant source inspiration for my artwork.
I have always printed and in more recent years it has become a large part of my practice, I print mainly using Lino and wood engraving, although I do also create mono prints too.
The coast and countryside with its customs/traditions and wildlife provide me with plenty of inspiration. I like to sketch and photograph when out walking and then develop my ideas in my studio from there, drawing is a huge part of my creative process.
