Submission Terms & Conditions
- Any artist living and working in East Anglia may apply.
- Work must be original hand pressed/pulled or screen printed.
- No digital work will be allowed.
- Risographs will be considered but must not make up more than 50% of your work. Traditional methods will get priority.
- All artwork for wall display must be framed.
- We allow a selection of artwork to go into browsers that can be mounted and sealed in cellophane. These need to be labelled with your name, title, process and price. Any artwork not presented in this way will not be put out for display.
- We provide card racks for any artist wishing to sell greetings cards during the print fair. These need to be professionally presented with labels stating your name and price.
- You will be given 2 boards to display your framed artwork. Either 2 boards that are 2100mm high x 1200mm wide. That use mirror plates to attach your artwork. Or 2 boards that are 2000mm high x 1500mm wide. These have a hanging wire system to attach your artwork. No nails or screws can be used on these boards. We provide the hanging wire system. You will be informed which type of space you get prior to exhibiting.
- No commission is taken on work sold but a fee of 4% is taken for credit/debit card sales.
- You are required to hang and take down your artwork for which you will need to bring your own equipment. After take down you must fill, sand and paint over holes with matt white paint. Hanging takes place on the Sunday before the exhibition opens on Monday morning. Take down is on the final Saturday from 5.00pm.
- You must provide labels for your artwork. These must be uniform in appearance and black type on white, mounted onto board and attached to the boards using white tack.
- As a selected artist, you will be required to sign up for 3 weekday invigilation sessions. These are either 10am – 1.30pm or 1.30pm – 5pm.
- You will be required to be present on both Saturdays of the exhibition. These are our portfolio days, and it is an opportunity to meet with the public to explain your work process as well as bring in sketchbooks and extra work to showcase yourself.
- You are required to provide 1 mini print for the Mini Print Raffle. This must be an original new artwork made to the size provided, which we mount and display during the print fair. The raffle takes place on the last Saturday of the fair and is a popular event, giving the chance to win an original artwork for £1 a ticket.
- You will be required to show proof of personal public liability insurance on accepting your place.
