Artist Statement

Liz Clark I originally trained as a textile designer and worked in the fashion industry for many years. More recently I developed an interest in printmaking which resulted in an MA from Camberwell College of Arts, graduating in 2001.
My prints are derived from the outside world – landscapes and gardens and always reflect my textile background. I use a variety of techniques , collagraph, drypoint, monoprint, etching, screenprinting and sometimes incorporate stitch to emphasise the line and add to the layer.
