David Jones
I am both a painter and printmaker. My prints are mostly but not exclusively topographical. I have made a large number of prints of historic buildings in Norfolk and Suffolk. I am particularly interested in history and the way that traces of the past may still be found in even the most modern city-scape. In my prints of historic buildings, wherever possible, I like to include some element of contemporary life to suggest the continuous nature of history.
